Gulf Orbit

Welder (TIG / Argon) supply in Saudi Arabia

Gas tungsten arc welding for stainless steel, alloy and thin-wall work where weld cleanliness and control matter more than deposition speed.

Direct answer

Gulf Orbit supplies TIG and argon welders across Saudi Arabia for stainless steel, alloy and thin-wall welding on petrochemical, industrial and fabrication work.

What they do on site

  • Perform GTAW on stainless, alloy and thin-wall pipe and plate
  • Set up purge and shielding to protect the weld root
  • Prepare and fit up joints to the required tolerance
  • Produce welds meeting visual and NDT acceptance criteria
  • Work to hot-work permit requirements on operating plant

Material matters more than the process name

TIG on carbon steel and TIG on duplex stainless are not the same skill. When you raise a TIG requirement, name the material and the wall thickness. That single line changes which workers are put forward and is the most common reason a welder who is genuinely competent still fails a client test.

Purging and root quality

On stainless and alloy pipework, root quality depends as much on purge discipline as on the welder's hand. If the scope includes closed-root pipe welding that will be radiographed, say so, because it changes both the crew and the time each joint takes.

How to request this trade

  1. 1

    Send the requirement

Trade, headcount, site location, start date, duration and shift pattern. Anything you can add about site access and permit requirements shortens the next step.

  2. 2

    Requirement review

We confirm what is available against your dates and flag anything in the scope that will affect mobilization.

  3. 3

    Worker matching

Workers are matched to the trade and to the site conditions — industrial versus building work are not interchangeable, and we do not treat them as such.

  4. 4

    Documentation and client approval

Iqama, identification and trade documentation are submitted for your review. Nobody mobilizes before you approve the profiles.

  5. 5

    Quotation and purchase order

Commercial terms are issued against the confirmed scope. A purchase order is required before mobilization.

  6. 6

    Mobilization and site induction

Workers are briefed on your site induction, permit-to-work and access requirements before they start.

  7. 7

    Ongoing support

Attendance, replacement and scale-up handled through a single point of contact for the duration of the requirement.

Documentation supplied with every worker

Iqama, identification and trade documentation are available for client review before mobilization. Where a client requires a specific certification or a trade test before a worker is accepted on site, say so in the requirement and it will be addressed during matching rather than after arrival.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply TIG welders for stainless steel pipework?

Yes. Name the material grade, wall thickness and inspection standard in the requirement so workers are matched against the actual joint rather than the process name.

Can TIG and 6G welders be supplied in the same crew?

Yes. Mixed welding crews are normal on industrial scopes; send the joint breakdown and the mix can be proposed.
