Manpower Supply by Industry in Saudi Arabia
Gulf Orbit supplies crews to construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, manufacturing, facility maintenance, mining, and power and water projects. Each sector page lists the trades, cards and site requirements that sector usually asks for.
What the industry pages cover
A petrochemical site, a construction project and a maintenance facility differ in the trades they need, the documents required for site entry and the shift patterns they run. Each industry page explains the crews that sector usually requests, links to the page for each trade, and lists what to put in the RFQ and which site requirements are confirmed before mobilization.
If you already know the trades, start from the manpower register, or send your RFQ directly. In-Kingdom personnel mobilize within 48–72 hours of the purchase order, subject to worker documents and site approvals.
Planning guides by project type
The industry pages describe what each sector usually needs. These guides go one level deeper for four project types: a refinery outage, routine plant maintenance, an MEP fit-out and a civil crew. The project experience page lists where Gulf Orbit workers have been deployed, by sector.
- Refinery turnaround manpower
Oil and gas and petrochemical outages: trades by work package and phase.
- Plant maintenance manpower
Power, water, manufacturing and process plants between outages: the stable core crew.
- MEP fit-out manpower
Construction and facility projects: MEP trades by stage, from first fix to testing support.
- Skilled, semi-skilled and general manpower
Civil and infrastructure crews: turning categories into named trades.
- Project experience
The projects Gulf Orbit workers have been deployed on through contractors, grouped by sector, with what the list does and does not mean.

How We Staff Each Sector
We match trades, card and document requirements, safety induction and mobilization planning to each sector's site requirements.
Matching by Sector
We match workers by trade, certification, site experience, and project conditions.
Key Benefits:
- Trade and level matched to the scope
- Experience in the same sector where available
- Card requirements confirmed per request
- CVs sent for your approval
Documents & Safety Induction
Workers complete Gulf Orbit's safety induction before deployment. Specialised training is confirmed per site.
Key Benefits:
- Safety induction before deployment
- Worker documents reviewed per project
- Induction records kept
- Site-specific training confirmed per site
Crew Size by Phase
Crew size and trade mix are agreed for each phase, so headcount rises for a shutdown or a peak and comes down after it.
Key Benefits:
- Trade mix agreed per phase
- Foremen and supervisors for larger crews
- Crew size agreed per phase
- Headcount reduced when the phase ends
