Scaffolding Rental and Erection in Saudi Arabia

Scaffolding rental and erection is the other half of Gulf Orbit's core scaffolding service. Gulf Orbit rents its own scaffolding and supplies the crews to erect, modify and dismantle it for construction, maintenance, shutdown and industrial work in Saudi Arabia. The scaffolding system is confirmed per request against the site's rules and the work.

Choose the scope before asking for a price, because the quotation, the crew and the responsibility for each scaffold change with it.

Rental with erection and dismantling: Gulf Orbit provides the material (cuplock, ringlock or tube and coupler) and the crew, and hands each structure over for use. Erection crews only: the material is yours or another supplier's, and Gulf Orbit supplies the scaffolders, supervisors and helpers; that is scaffolder supply. The amount of scaffolding and the size of the crew come from the access you need, not from a total in tonnes. Send drawings or a list of work fronts with heights, the loads the scaffold must carry, any cantilevers, birdcages or special structures, and how long each structure stays up. A scaffold that is modified often, for example around a mechanical scope, needs a crew that stays on site rather than one that erects and leaves. A rented scaffold has a life on site. It is erected to the access plan, handed over, modified as the work moves or the scope changes, and dismantled and returned when the work is done. Each stage needs scaffolders on site, so plan the crew for the whole life of the structures, not only for the first erection. Tell us the expected modification pattern and the dismantling sequence, so material and crew can be released in step with your programme.

Sites run their own scaffold permit and tagging rules, commonly a green, yellow and red tag system. Say in the RFQ who inspects and tags each scaffold under your procedure before it is handed over, and whether your site requires TUV-carded scaffolders. TUV-carded scaffolders are available, and card copies are sent with the CVs for your approval before mobilization.

For a plant shutdown, scaffolding goes up before the window, changes while equipment is opened, and comes down after box-up, so material delivery, laydown space inside the plant and vehicle gate passes are planned with the crew. For a facade, the scaffold rises with the structure or cladding, ties into the building, and may need sheeting, debris netting or a protected walkway for the street below.
