What to ask any manpower supplier for during pre-qualification
Good pre-qualification separates what proves the company from what proves each worker is ready. The first is checked once, at registration; the second is checked per project, before mobilization. Ask for each item in a form you can verify, not a general word such as "approved" or "compliant".
Company level
- Commercial Registration number and issue date, to check with the Ministry of Commerce.
- VAT registration certificate from ZATCA.
- Office addresses, office hours and one contact for RFQs.
- Written times with a start point: the RFQ response, and when mobilization starts counting.
- A clear statement of what is quoted separately, such as accommodation and transport.
Worker level, per project
- A CV for each named worker and trade, for your approval before mobilization.
- Copies of the cards your site requires, such as TUV or Aramco certification, with expiry dates.
- A WPQ record for every welder, against your welding procedure.
- Evidence of the supplier's safety induction before mobilization.
- The worker documents your site needs, reviewed per project.
