Manpower Supply in Saudi Arabia

Scaffolding crews are Gulf Orbit's core service, and manpower supply staffs the trades that depend on that access. The published register lists 57 documented trades in three groups, and every one of them can be requested on its own or combined with others on one RFQ. Gulf Orbit supplies the workers and remains their employer; your site team directs the work, sets the priorities and signs off the output.

That split matters when you compare suppliers. Manpower supply is not recruitment, where you bring a worker onto your own establishment, and it is not a subcontract, where the supplier takes responsibility for delivering a scope. The civil trades cover structure and finishing: scaffolders, steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, masons, plasterers, tile and marble fixers, painters, helpers and civil foremen.

The mechanical and electrical trades cover plant and building services: 6G welders, pipe fitters, mechanical fitters, Level III riggers, E&I technicians, industrial and panel board electricians, plumbers, duct fitters and AC technicians.

The site and office roles cover the people around the work: supervisors and general foremen, mobile and tower crane operators, forklift operators, heavy drivers, QA/QC inspectors, HSE officers, surveyors, storekeepers and office staff. Each trade page states its scope and what to put in the RFQ, so the right worker is requested the first time.

A complete RFQ names the trades and headcount per trade, the site and city, the start date, duration and shift pattern, and the cards the site requires.

CVs and card copies are then sent for your approval. Approving them before the purchase order keeps them off the critical path. Every worker completes Gulf Orbit's safety induction before mobilization; site-specific training is confirmed per site. The manpower supply buyer's guide sets out each step in a table.

Site rules decide which cards each trade needs, so state them in the RFQ. TUV-carded workers are available for trades that require a TUV card on Saudi sites, such as scaffolders, riggers, crane and forklift operators, and heavy-equipment operators where the site requires it. Aramco-certified and non-Aramco workers are both available; you state which your site requires.

Gulf Orbit's offices are in Dammam (head office), Jubail Industrial City and Al Khobar, and manpower is supplied to project sites anywhere in Saudi Arabia. Gulf Orbit has supplied crews to projects in Riyadh, Jazan, Madinah, Tabuk, Yanbu and Rabigh, all from the Eastern Province offices.

Gulf Orbit has supplied manpower to contractors working on projects including Jafurah, Haradh, Abqaiq, Safaniya, Tanajib, the Berri gas plant, the Amiral complex and the Jazan refinery, and has supplied turnaround and outage crews in Jubail Industrial City, Ras Tanura and Yanbu. Accommodation and transport are quoted on request, and you can ask for them as separate lines so worker rates stay comparable across suppliers. Rates are not published, because each one depends on the trade, grade, duration, shift pattern, cards and location.
