MEP Manpower Supply in Saudi Arabia

MEP work does not run at one level from start to finish. It starts with services hidden in walls and slabs, peaks during the main installation, and ends with fixtures, terminations and testing support. The trades that peak in one stage are idle in another, so one headcount for the whole fit-out either leaves the peak short or pays for crews waiting for ceilings. The trades for each stage are set out in MEP fit-out manpower.

First fix covers conduits, sleeves, boxes and drainage embedded before block walls are plastered and slabs are poured: electricians, plumbers and helpers. Main installation is the peak: ductwork, piping, cable trays and cabling, and equipment setting, with duct fitters, duct fabricators, plumbers, copper-pipe plumbers and electricians. Pressure testing is signed off before duct insulators close the ducts and pipes ahead of the ceilings.

Final fix waits for ceilings and finishes in each area: fixtures, diffusers, panels, terminations and connections, with electricians, panel board electricians, plumbers and AC technicians. The crew then supports your testing and commissioning team on the installed systems. Request final fix late, zone by zone, not on day one.

State the skills each package needs in the RFQ: drawing and single-line diagram reading, cable termination, panel wiring, PPR, HDPE or copper jointing, brazing, sheet-metal duct fabrication or insulation. CVs are shortlisted against them and sent for your approval before mobilization. If your consultant requires a practical trade test, say so in the RFQ; the test is agreed per site. Say whether the crew installs only or also fabricates ductwork on site, and whether it is labour-only or brings hand tools; that is confirmed per request.

MEP and civil crews share the same floors. First fix must finish before walls are plastered and slabs poured; insulation must be complete before ceilings close; final fix starts only when an area is finished. Send the programme by zone or floor with the MEP stages marked, so each trade is proposed for the weeks its work fronts are open. Name a foreman per discipline in the RFQ if you want one as your daily site contact.

Send the project type and city, the trades and headcount per stage with a foreman per discipline, the programme by floor or zone, the current installation stage, the material scope (install only or fabricate on site), tools (labour-only or with hand tools), working hours and shift pattern, site access requirements, and whether accommodation and transport should be quoted; they are quoted on request.
