Temporary & Contract Manpower in Saudi Arabia

Temporary manpower covers work with a start and an end: a concrete pour programme, a schedule recovery after delays, an installation phase, a shutdown window, or a peak that your own team cannot absorb. Gulf Orbit remains the workers' employer, and your site team directs the work for the period you set. It differs from recruitment, where you bring the worker onto your own establishment. There is no published minimum or standard term. State the expected duration in the RFQ, in weeks or months, and whether it is fixed (a shutdown window) or likely to move (a construction phase). The quotation is built around that period, so a realistic duration gives a more useful price than a round number.

Projects slip: weather, material deliveries and permits move milestone dates. Extension and release dates are set in the contract. Raise an extension as early as you can; it gives the best chance of keeping the same workers, who already know your site, rather than replacing them. When work fronts close, release the crew trade by trade rather than all at once.

Worker documents, including iqama and trade documentation, are reviewed per project before mobilization. Send your site's gate-pass process, card requirements and any site-specific training with the RFQ. TUV-carded workers are available for trades that require a TUV card, and Aramco-certified and non-Aramco workers are both available. Accommodation and transport are quoted on request. Say whether your project provides camp beds and site transport; if not, ask for them as separate lines so the worker rates can be compared line by line. Any trade on the register of 57 documented trades can be supplied for a defined period: scaffolders and helpers, steel fixers and carpenters, welders and pipe fitters, riggers and crane operators, electricians and E&I technicians, supervisors and site staff. Send the trades and headcount per trade, the site and city, the start date and expected duration, the shift pattern, card and gate-pass requirements, and whether accommodation and transport should be quoted. Send the RFQ.

If a temporary requirement is extended more than once, say so in the next request. A longer, planned contract can keep the same workers on site through the extension, and the quotation is then built for the full period instead of being renewed month by month.
