Aluminium work on a building splits into different jobs. Windows and doors are assembled from profile systems and fixed into openings. Curtain wall is a grid of mullions and transoms hung from the structure, floor by floor. Cladding sub-frames carry panels rather than glass. Each has its own system, tolerances and fixings.
