Two kinds of demand in one area

Projects in Rabigh need a varied workforce. Refinery and petrochemical maintenance calls for qualified 6G pipe welders, turnaround scaffolders and mechanical fitters working under strict refinery safety procedures. At the same time, the industrial valley and port of King Abdullah Economic City need structural steel fabricators, erectors, forklift operators and civil construction crews. Cross-country mobilization and camp logistics

Crews for Rabigh are mobilized from the Eastern Province, so transport and, where needed, accommodation along the Rabigh and KAEC corridor are planned in advance and quoted on request. KAEC's industrial valley and port

Refinery shutdowns on the Red Sea coast

Refinery and petrochemical shutdowns on the west coast draw on the same trades as those in the Eastern Province: scaffolders, qualified welders, pipe fitters, riggers, mechanical fitters, E&I technicians and supervision. The difference is travel: crews come from the Eastern Province, so the window dates, headcount per phase and the plant's induction and gate-pass lead times need to be known early. Send them as soon as the window is set, even before the scope is final.

Fast-track steel buildings

Warehouses and factory buildings in the Rabigh and KAEC area are often built on fast-track programmes: foundations and floor slabs, then steel structure erection, cladding and roofing, then MEP and fit-out, with phases overlapping. Each phase needs a different crew, and the peak moves from civil trades to erectors, riggers and welders, then to electricians and duct fitters. Send the building programme by phase, so each crew arrives as its phase opens and leaves as it closes, instead of one headcount held for the whole job.

Coastal heat and working hours

Rabigh sits on a hot, humid stretch of the Red Sea coast, and refinery sites add flame-resistant clothing and full protective equipment to the heat load. Crews usually start early, shift heavy lifting and hot work to cooler hours, and follow rest cycles with water and shade at the work front, and the summer midday break for outdoor work applies. Share the site's heat-stress rules and working hours, so output and headcount are planned on the hours crews can actually work.

Petro Rabigh and King Abdullah Economic City

Rabigh's industrial base is Petro Rabigh, the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex of Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, founded in 2005. In the same governorate, King Abdullah Economic City sits at Al Qudimah, with a stop on the Haramain high-speed railway to Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah; King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah is about 148 km to the south. Say whether the site is inside the Petro Rabigh complex or in the economic city: plant work brings refinery permits and cards, while the economic city is mostly construction and facility work.
